About this trip
Join us for seven days of guided flying along Morocco's spectacular Atlantic coastline. Mirleft delivers reliable trade-wind conditions, dramatic cliff launches and long ridge runs above empty beaches. Each day includes a weather briefing, guided flying and debrief, with plenty of time to explore the local culture and cuisine. This trip suits pilots comfortable with coastal winds and thermal launches.
Flying conditions
Coastal ridge and thermal soaring with consistent southwest breezes. Launch from sandy slopes above the Atlantic and soar along kilometers of untouched coastline.
Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival & briefing
Airport pickup, welcome dinner and weather outlook for the week.
- Day 2Site orientation
First flights from the main coastal site with instructor support and local tips.
- Day 3Ridge runs
Long soaring flights along the coast, working on transitions and coastal awareness.
- Day 4Thermal coaching
Chasing thermals, reading sea breezes and maximising airtime.
- Day 5Exploration day
Visit nearby launch sites or rest day with optional local excursion.
- Day 6Best of the week
Final guided flying session, aiming for the longest flight of the trip.
- Day 7Departure
Farewell breakfast and airport transfer.

Safety
All flying is weather dependent. Pilots must hold a valid license and reserve parachute. Coastal sites require good launch and top-landing technique; briefings cover emergency procedures and local rules.
